Sage Colleges Build Relationships with TargetX CRM
To avoid drowning in information about potential students, Sage Colleges use a powerful customer relationship management (CRM) system from TargetX that employs cloud data integration provided by Informatica to streamline communication with prospective students, according to a release from TargetX.
TargetX's Student Recruitment Manager, a cloud-based CRM system designed specifically for college admissions offices, has made the mountain of student data Sage Colleges’ recruiters have sort through much more manageable, allowing Sage to target and interact with potential students more effectively.
"Data imports and integration are among the biggest challenges we face," said Bryan Lester, Director of Enrollment Information & Admission Processing for the Sage Colleges, in the press release. Sage Colleges’ representatives were challenged by data imports and integration before implementing the CRM. Previously, they used a "Common App," Lester explained in the release. However, the Sage Colleges found it was very time consuming to input all that data into their SIS [Student Information System]. "So we previously omitted such things as extracurricular interests and parent email addresses. Now we're able to enter everything quickly and efficiently. One result is, we're planning an email campaign aimed at parents, something we haven't been able to do before,” Lester said.
TargetX permits quick importing of SAT, ACT, NRCCUA, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL and the Student Search Service data greatly accelerating the recruitment process. According to the release, the Student Recruitment Manager (SRM) is built on the Salesforce.com (News - Alert) platform, making SRM a powerful, mobile and customizable recruiting tool in higher education.
TargetX, a student-recruiting firm serving higher education, offers both technology tools and consulting services to help colleges recruit today's more sophisticated, web-savvy students. The TargetX and Informatica partnership has enabled Sage Colleges to create an easier and more reliable process for importing and exporting data.
